Lindewijck, Veenendaal

The site consists of a former industrial area, bordered by a healthcare complex and two church buildings. On the southern side, the location connects to an access road lined with a row of large trees.

The apartments are designed as an all-sided building in an open U-shape. The open side and the vertical accents are oriented toward the access road, creating coherence with the surrounding buildings. The open U also ensures sufficient light and space within the plan.

Within the U, a raised ground level has been created, with resident parking located underneath. Enclosed functions such as storage areas connect directly to this level. On the outer side, the ground floor features four entrances as well as several apartments with gardens or terraces facing the public space.
