The Hoefkwartier urban district is being transformed into a neighborhood where living, working, learning, and leisure come together. By converting offices into apartments and constructing new residential buildings, Hoefkwartier is changing from a primarily business district into a vibrant mixed-use area. And there is more: redundant parking lots are being turned into green spaces, cyclists and pedestrians are given more room, and the surroundings of Amersfoort Schothorst station are being transformed into an attractive place to stay.

On behalf of the owner of Computerweg 8, our studio, together with Opus Vastgoed and in collaboration with the municipality, is designing a mix of housing and workspaces at this location in Hoefkwartier. The project combines newly built apartments with a renovated and more sustainable office building, prominently located at the future Hoefpark.
