Laakse Tuinen, Amersfoort
In the new Laakse Tuinen district, a residential ensemble was needed that would translate the atmosphere of traditional Dutch architecture into a contemporary plan.
Thirty homes were designed with a strong sense of cohesion, yet each with its own character. Brickwork details, roof shapes, and color schemes ensure a natural connection with the surrounding neighborhood.
Through smart urban design interventions — such as staggered façades and the use of traditional Delft pavements — a pleasant living environment is created. Large windows maximize natural light and strengthen the relationship between inside and outside.
