University of Applied Sciences van Hall Larenstein, Velp
For the Velp campus of Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences, we have transformed the educational building into a place where nature, sustainability, and contemporary learning go hand in hand. The building reflects the university’s green identity and strengthens the connection between students, lecturers, and their environment.
Inside the building, new meeting and learning areas have been created, offering space for consultation, collaboration, and knowledge exchange. These areas align with the way students study and work today: flexible, interactive, and connected.
The lecturers’ offices have been positioned in a more open and transparent way, enhancing both visibility and accessibility. Here too, we chose circular meeting and focus rooms that can be reused or adapted as needs evolve.
The use of natural materials such as wood, combined with upgraded sustainable installations, ensures a future-proof building that visibly embodies VHL’s green ambition.
The result is an inspiring learning environment where students feel connected not only to their field of study but also to the university’s green mission.
