Rabobank, Geldermalsen

Coare Architectuur designed a central café workspace for both clients and employees, featuring coffee facilities, various workstations, and separate private workspaces. To realize this, Rabobank held a tender process.

During the tender and execution phases, Rabobank emphasized transparency. They wanted to give their suppliers the opportunity to submit bids for the various disciplines required during construction. In consultation with Rabobank, we agreed on a joint list of suppliers and subsequently invited multiple subcontractors to tender.

Coare Realisatie was selected as the main contractor and delivered an energy-neutral environment utilizing many recycled materials. For example, old safe doors were repurposed into decorative elements, and furniture was sustainably produced by people with a distance to the labor market.

Although the bank remained operational throughout the renovation, we implemented a carefully coordinated work plan to ensure minimal disruption to daily business operations.
