Visit to Nairobi, tour of UN-Habitat headquarters / Sustainable Development Goals
During the visit to UN-Habitat we learned how the SDGs are currently being used to sustainably deploy emerging development in Kenya for urban development.

SDGs: 1 (No Poverty), 6 (Clean Water), 11 (Sustainable Cities), 13 (Climate Action)
UN-Habitat is working with the Government of Kenya to:
• Build affordable and safe housing for slum dwellers.
• Improve access to water and sanitation.
• Install waste management and drainage to reduce flooding and disease.
• Actively involve residents in decision-making and implementation.
Kibera is home to over 250,000 people living in difficult living conditions, KENSUP not only helps improve the quality of life but also contributes to sustainable and inclusive urban development.
