During the Hoefcafé on April 10th, we had the opportunity to present our Preliminary Design (VO) for Plotterweg 38 in Amersfoort.
The housing shortage in the Netherlands is great. Inner-city infill is the best option to create living environments for home seekers that have direct character. The parking lot behind the Visma office is ideally suited for this.
In accordance with the Hoefkwartier framework, we would like to create a meaningful living environment. Our goal is to create a residential block where different target groups meet in a parking hub, in the pocket park and on the roof gardens. The building must also become biodiversely positive for its surroundings. Landscape architect Copijn is making plans to increase biodiversity.
Program: a total of 138 apartments will be built. These will be divided into mid-rent low (<50 m2), mid-rent high (<70 m2), private sector (<90 m2) and private sector (>90 m2). The parking hub houses approximately 285 parking spaces. We are creating approximately 2500 m2 of roof gardens, a park of approximately 3000 m2 and approximately 1250 m2 of green facades.
